This Position reports to:

IS Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a function and team in the Security Domain Architecture space globally. Each day, you will be accountable for the architectural alignment of solutions, and enhancements with Zero Trust model, creating risk based technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions.

This role is contributing to ABB Globally across all technologies managed by global IS or Business area IS. Main stakeholders are Core IS functions, Business Area IS, Security teams and other domain architects globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing sustainable maintenance of services, solutions, and/or applications by leading cross-functional global teams, establishing strong vendor partnerships, and comprehensive stakeholder management.
  • Driving the Zero Trust agenda through the various architects within security and outside.
  • Defining technology roadmap that aligns to the security priorities of the organization
  • Planning and managing implementation of organization-wide processes, procedures, tools, and techniques for identification, assessment, and management of risk inherent in operation of business processes and potential risks arising from planned change.
  • Collaborating with enterprise architects, solution architects, and engineering teams to embed secure-by-design principles into technology delivery and transformation initiatives.
  • Providing architecture-level guidance during security incidents and major outages to ensure rapid containment and recovery.
  • Establishing and managing analytics methods, techniques, and capabilities to enable the organization to analyze data, generate insights, create value, and drive decision-making.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Proven expertise in enterprise security architecture, with hands-on experience in architecture tools and technology roadmapping.
  • 15+ years of experience in security architecture and leadership, including Zero Trust implementation.
  • Architecture certifications like CISSP-AP, SABSA and TOGAF are preferred
  • Strong global people management skills, with experience leading distributed teams.
  • Deep understanding of security architecture design models and frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
