Qlik Sense Architect

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Qlik Sense Architect to join our Financial Operations team. The selected candidate will lead the design, development, and delivery of Qlik Sense applications and dashboards, driving critical insights for financial decision-making. This role also includes mentoring junior developers, managing communication with global stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of analytical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global corporate environment. Familiarity with analytical product lifecycles in corporate ecosystems and fluency in English for business purposes is essential.

Tasks:

Design & Development:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Qlik Sense applications and dashboards tailored to Financial Operations needs.
• Develop data models and complex visualizations to translate financial data and business requirements into actionable insights.
• Optimize Qlik Sense applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.

Data Integration & Management:

• Integrate data from multiple financial systems and databases into Qlik Sense.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within Qlik Sense applications.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes supporting financial data integration and reporting needs.

Team Leadership:

• Guide and mentor a team of junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Oversee multiple dashboard development projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the Financial Operations community to support adoption and use of Qlik Sense applications.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Global Collaboration:

• Work in a global environment, managing communications and coordination across distributed teams and stakeholders.

Maintenance & Support:

• Monitor and maintain existing Qlik Sense applications, ensuring functionality and relevance for Financial Operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while minimizing impact on financial reporting cycles.
• Update and enhance applications regularly to meet evolving business needs.

Documentation & Best Practices:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, data models, and Qlik Sense processes.
• Establish and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.

Requirements 'must have':

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Qlik Sense development with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Expertise in Qlik Sense development, including scripting, data modelling, and creating complex visualizations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with corporate ecosystems and analytical product lifecycles.
• Fluent in English for business communication (mandatory).
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Requirements 'nice to have':

• Qlik Sense certification.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in finance or corporate environments is a plus.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP is advantageous.
