Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a Strategist and Project Lead, contributing to a pro-Palestine initiative: EuropeForPalestine. The role requires on-site involvement in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Key responsibilities include leading advocacy and technology-related projects, research new ways to develop human rights through our resources, developing strategies to increase the effectiveness of initiatives, managing project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with partner organizations, and fostering collaboration within teams to meet the mission's objectives. The position is exchangeable with Founder administrative and strategic tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee and guide teams effectively
  • The capacity to lead and coordinate a volunteer recruiting campaign using Linkedin and Google Calendar.
  • Visionary spirit, idea maker.
  • Create and maintain a organized backlog of ideas, functionalities, progressions.
  • The commitment needed for being a volunteer and a long term commitment.
  • Experience in strategy development, decision-making, and planning for advocacy or nonprofit initiatives
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups and organizations
  • Knowledge of the Palestinian cause, international relations, or human rights issues
  • Master degree in human rights, international relations or similar or a background of successful initiatives or projects is preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to dynamic challenges
  • Proficiency in using technology for project management and communication tools
  • Previous experience in the nonprofit sector or volunteering is a plus
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills such as Spanish or Arabic being advantageous
