Gallery Assistant – Sales Focus (Madrid)

We are an international contemporary art gallery seeking a motivated 
Gallery Assistant
 in 
Madrid
 to join our team starting this week.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and communication skills, a passion for art, and the ability to create an engaging experience for collectors and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist clients and visitors in the gallery
  • Promote and sell artworks, maintaining excellent client relations
  • Support daily gallery operations and exhibition setup
  • Manage social media and assist with marketing activities
  • Coordinate inventory updates and artwork documentation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in 
    sales, customer service, or art-related fields
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Positive, proactive attitude and interest in contemporary art

Availability:
 Flexible schedule (part-time or full-time).

La persona ideal tiene experiencia en ventas y atención al cliente, pasión por el arte y habilidades para ofrecer una experiencia atractiva a coleccionistas y visitantes.

Funciones:

  • Atender y asesorar a clientes y visitantes en la galería
  • Promover y vender obras de arte, manteniendo relaciones con coleccionistas
  • Apoyar las operaciones diarias y el montaje de exposiciones
  • Gestionar redes sociales y colaborar en acciones de marketing
  • Actualizar inventario y documentación de obras

Requisitos:

  • Experiencia previa en 
    ventas, atención al cliente o sector artístico
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y organización
  • Dominio de español e inglés
  • Actitud positiva, proactiva e interés por el arte contemporáneo
  • Disponibilidad:
     Horario flexible (media jornada o jornada completa).
