At Eltex we're looking for a Accounting Manager to help us to keep growing and to organize the accounting team, for Spain & Italy.

Role Mission

The Head of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the Group's accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across all entities.

This role owns the monthly and annual closing processes, leads the accounting team, defines accounting policies and internal controls, and acts as the main liaison with external auditors and advisors. You will play a key role in building a scalable finance organization as Eltex expands internationally.

Key Responsibilities


• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll and general ledger.


• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly fin package with full analysis of the results.


• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.


• Lead and support the implementation of the company's ERP and accounting automation tools.


• Ensure data quality and robustness of financial systems.


• Lead the relationship with external tax and accounting advisors.


• Act as main point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.


• 4+ years of experience in progressive experience in accounting or finance. Big Four experience is desirable.


•  Experience with financial reporting standards, audits, internal control and compliance requirements.


•  Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.


• Strong planning, communication and leadership skills.


• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills


• Excellent command of Spanish & English.
