We're hiring: Technical Support & Training Engineer


Location: Madrid, Spain

FURUNO ESPAÑA is looking for a
Technical Support & Training Engineer
to join our team in Madrid. This role is key to ensuring high-quality technical support, professional training, and compliance with the latest cybersecurity regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver
    technical training courses
    to dealers, partners, and in-house technicians, both on-site and online.
  • Provide
    advanced technical support
    to customer dealers and service engineers, assisting with installation, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Act as a
    technical reference point
    for FURUNO products, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain
    cybersecurity-related technical documentation
    in compliance with new international and EU regulations.
  • Support the implementation of
    cybersecurity requirements
    across products, services, and internal processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, and Engineering teams to ensure technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and update
    technical manuals, training materials, and support documentation
    .

Requirements

  • Technical background in
    electronics, telecommunications, IT, or similar fields
    .
  • Experience in
    technical support, training, or service engineering
    , preferably in marine, navigation, or high-tech environments.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in
    cybersecurity regulations and documentation
    (e.g. compliance, risk management, technical standards).
  • Strong
    problem-solving skills
    and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Fluent English
    is required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training and technical support activities.
