R&D Leader for their Personal Care Active Ingredients division
.

Mission of the position: To lead research and development tasks and functions related to new products, techniques, and laboratory projects, ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in new R&D developments.

  • Plan, monitor, and partly carry out project-related lab work.

  • Conduct bibliographic research in articles, journals, patents, and other relevant sources.

  • Develop and optimize synthesis routes and product formulations.

  • Support the scale-up phase of new products or synthesis processes to production.

  • Develop analytical methods related to new projects.

  • Prepare technical laboratory reports and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry.

  • Master's degree or PhD in Organic Chemistry, or demonstrable equivalent experience.

  • English level C1.

  • Proven experience in R&D within the cosmetic industry (laboratory, research, and synthesis design).

  • Knowledge of chemical structures and functionality of preservatives and/or multifunctional cosmetic ingredients.

  • Knowledge of green or natural chemistry will be an advantage.

  • Skills: self-motivated, decisive, organized, with leadership and communication abilities, and capable of working independently while adapting to change and competing priorities.
