We are looking for a DevOps Engineer – GenAI Infrastructure (x|f|m) for our IT Software Development & Innovations department.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our Generative AI operations, building and running the infrastructure that powers intelligent solutions across Sartorius. You'll combine your DevOps expertise with a passion for AI to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment of GenAI workloads in the cloud.

The job is full-time and can be done remotely on a daily basis as well as on site at our office in Madrid.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for GenAI applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of AI services

  • Operate and optimize AI workloads on Microsoft Azure, including services like Foundry Projects, Foundry Agents, Azure AI Search, Container Apps,  Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and more

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance

  • Collaborate closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to deliver production-ready AI solutions

  • Champion DevOps best practices and drive automation across the AI platform

What will convince us

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering

  • Strong hands-on skills with Terraform, Azure Devops pipelines, or similar tools

  • Experience operating AI/ML workloads in production, ideally in Azure

  • Familiarity with GenAI technologies (e.g., LLMs, vector databases, prompt orchestration)

  • Solid understanding of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly

  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
