Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  2. Define and execute the vehicle sales strategy and annual sales targets for the Spanish market;

  3. Develop sales plans, pricing guidance, and volume allocation based on market and competitive analysis;
  4. Monitor sales performance and provide regular business reviews and forecasts to management.

  5. Sales Operations & System Setup

  6. Build and manage the local vehicle sales organization, including regional and dealer sales teams;

  7. Establish sales processes, KPIs, target-setting, and performance management systems;
  8. Drive the use of CRM, DMS, and sales reporting tools to standardize and digitalize sales operations.

  9. Dealer Sales Performance Management

  10. Manage dealer sell-in and sell-out performance to ensure achievement of sales targets;

  11. Monitor dealer inventory, pricing discipline, and retail execution;
  12. Implement dealer incentive programs and commercial policies in coordination with HQ and Dealer Network teams.

  13. Volume Delivery & Market Expansion

  14. Deliver vehicle sales volume, revenue, and market penetration objectives;

  15. Support new model launches, sales campaigns, and regional expansion initiatives;
  16. Work closely with Marketing & PR teams to improve lead conversion and retail effectiveness.

  17. Pricing, Inventory & Risk Control

  18. Ensure pricing consistency and prevent channel conflicts or margin erosion;

  19. Oversee vehicle inventory planning, stock turnover, and risk mitigation;
  20. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance to optimize delivery efficiency and cash flow.

  21. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  22. Lead, coach, and develop the sales team with clear objectives and accountability;

  23. Collaborate closely with After Sales, Dealer Network, Product, Marketing, Finance, and HQ teams;
  24. Act as the primary interface for vehicle sales between HQ and the local organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of automotive vehicle sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role
  • OEM or major automotive group experience required; EV / NEV experience is a strong plus
  • Experience in launching or scaling vehicle sales operations in Europe is highly preferred
  • Strong expertise in vehicle sales operations and dealer management
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and results
  • Solid understanding of CRM, DMS, and sales analytics
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, and risk management skills
  • Ability to balance volume growth, profitability, and brand positioning
  • Spanish: Native or business-fluent
  • English: Business-fluent
  • Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
