We are international recruiters looking for top talents for our Clients. This time we are calling young, ambitious people with native Brazilian Portuguese and fluent English, who would like to become SEO Lead and work on-site in Madrid, Spain.

About the Client

Our client is an international company that is a leader in comparing energy tariffs, internet costs, and telecommunications. The company has offices in several countries and continents. Due to intensive development and plans for further expansion, we are looking for candidates for the SEO Lead (Brazil) position for our client.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for the design and planning of the SEO strategy for the Telecom department, with an emphasis on quality and qualification
  • In collaboration with the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for defining the project's direction in the short, medium, and long term. 
  • Together with the SEO Manager and the Head of SEO Content, you will design the content strategy, and define and monitor the OKR of the department.
  • You'll collaborate and learn from the rest of the digital marketing department: together with the sales team, you'll be able to track conversions and sales. 
  • You will carry out internal and external linking strategies, together with the OFF PAGE SEO team and the SEO Manager.
  • Teamwork, training and learning:
    • You will be responsible for 1:1, testing periods, and annual assessments. 
    • You will implement and update the different training plans. 
    • You will be in charge of developing the department's career plan. 
    • You will carry out the team selection processes, together with HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the course of the project in the short, medium and long term
  • Define Content Strategy with SEO Manager and SEO Content Lead
  • Define and monitor the achievement of the department's OKRs, together with SEO Manager
  • Define quality guidelines and good SEO practices
  • Reporting: tracking and analysis of traffic, positioning and conversion
  • CRO and diversification of funding sources
  • Track conversion and sales data, in collaboration with the sales team
  • Evaluate the Linkbuilding strategy, together with the team dedicated to External Links
  • Control and ensure the technical health of websites
  • Promote the passion for SEO and Quality Content within the company
  • Perform the management of 1:1s, test periods, trainings and annual evaluations
  • Mentoring: creating a continuous learning environment
  • Execute and update training plans
  • Team building and team development.

Essential requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist
  • Advanced knowledge of analysis tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog) and SEO platforms (Ahrefs, Sistrix or SemRush)
  • SEO and Content Audits
  • Technical SEO - Sitemaps, Indexing, Response Codes, , web architecture, canonicals, Core Web Vitals, among others
  • E.E.A.T.
  • Structured Data (microdata and JSON)
  • Internal Linking and External Links (linkbuilding)
  • Native Portuguese Brasilian, fluent in English
