We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Legal Intern to support corporate governance and legal documentation projects across our portfolio companies. This role offers hands on experience in reviewing corporate structures, managing legal records, and strengthening legal compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a review of corporate structures and historical legal documentation across portfolio companies
- Identify missing information or documentation
- Upload and complete corporate records in our legal entity management system (KLEA)
- Maintain the system and ensure updates for new information and corporate actions
- Extract and summarize governance terms from key documents such as SHAs, LLPAs, and LPAs
- Build a governance overview including board structure, quorum requirements, voting rights, carry structure, and decision-making responsibilities across shareholders, board, and executive leadership
Duration and Hours:
- Expected duration: one to three months depending on project scope
- Weekly hours: approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
Requirements:
- Legal studies background, ideally a mid-stage or completed law degree
- Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience is a plus
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Fluency in English, written and spoken. Additional European languages are a plus
- Interest in corporate law, governance, and compliance processes
