Role Overview
We're looking for a
Junior Hosted Buyer Specialist
— a proactive, detail-oriented professional passionate about sports, travel, and events.
This is an early-career role (around 2 years of experience) designed for someone eager to grow in the international events industry.
You'll play a key role in the coordination of our Hosted Buyer Programmes, ensuring a seamless experience for participants and supporting the commercial success of our events, Sports & Events Europe 2026 (Seville), Sports & Events America 2026 (Florida), as well as other international editions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Hosted Buyer Programme: sourcing, vetting, inviting, confirming, and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain and grow the hosted buyer database (sports travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, federations, etc.).
- Manage the event platform and app system, ensuring information accuracy and an excellent user experience.
- Support the sales team by providing customer service and event-related information to clients and partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers for travel, accommodation, on-site logistics, and reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on communication campaigns and buyer engagement initiatives.
- Participate on-site during the events to support operations and ensure a smooth delegate experience.
- Monitor satisfaction, collect feedback, and contribute to post-event analysis and improvement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Events, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Around 2 years of professional experience in events, hospitality, tourism, or customer service.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish (other languages are a plus).
- Previous experience in buyer recruitment, account management, or event coordination — ideally in sports, MICE, or travel sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and customer focus.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and event management systems.
- Passion for sports, hospitality, and creating memorable event experiences.
