Interim Finance Director – 6–8 Month Contract
Location:
London, Dublin or Spain (Travel required 1 week a month)
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
Rate: Outside IR35 Flexible
About the Company
A rapidly growing international technology company is seeking an Interim Finance Director to support a critical phase of expansion. The business operates in high-security and regulated sectors, providing digital infrastructure and cloud services across multiple countries. With planned acquisitions and international growth, this is a unique opportunity to shape finance and procurement operations in a complex, multi-jurisdiction environment.
The Role
We are looking for a senior finance leader to stabilize and professionalize the finance and procurement teams, support on an implementation, and support upcoming acquisition activity. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution and offers the chance to make a significant impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize finance and procurement processes to improve efficiency, control, and reporting.
- Provide financial analysis, planning, and integration support for a planned European acquisition.
- Assess and develop the finance and procurement teams, implementing best practices.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling across multiple entities.
- Support the implementation and go-live of Dynamics 365, with post-launch support.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations across all jurisdictions.
What We're Looking For
- Change management and team development skills.
- Experience with acquisitions and integration planning.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Hands-on ERP experience, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Experience managing cross-border teams and complex financial operations.
- Proven senior finance leadership in capital-intensive or infrastructure-heavy businesses.
- Spanish language skills beneficial but not required.
