The Role

As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you'll take on a critical role of monitoring, controlling, and maintaining cutting-edge systems across our expansive infrastructure environment. You'll be the key to providing innovative solutions to both technical and business challenges – ensuring seamless operations that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Operations role is primarily focused on monitoring, operating, and maintaining IT systems across enterprise infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• System Monitoring & Maintenance
  Oversee Windows and Unix-based systems across server infrastructures, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Incident Management & Escalation
  Act as the first point of contact for clients, escalating problem incidents to appropriate authorities and ensuring timely resolution.
• Infrastructure Changes & Requests
  Implement infrastructure changes, handle service requests, and support project management processes related to system operations
• Preventive & Proactive Operations
  Validate alerts, execute preventive tasks, and apply proactive measures to avoid outages or abnormal situations.
• Security & Compliance
  Apply security protocols and participate in processes that protect organizational infrastructure from cyber threats. 
• There will be mandatory shifts covering the customer service 24x7 (Morning, afternoon and night shift)

Required Skills and Experience

•In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems

•Experience or technical knowledge of Batch Operations

•Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

• Collaborating with diverse technical teams

• Acting as trusted advisors to customers.

• Maintaining infrastructure through continuous monitoring and proactive problem-solving. 

• Spanish and catalan languages required spoken and written.

Preferred Skills and Experience

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields

•Windows Server certification

•CCNA/CCNP certification

•SDWAN and network skills
