Job description:

What is the objective of this project and what does it consist

The objective of this position is to reinforce the Product Safety Management team and the corresponding activities, we are looking for a Product Safety Engineer for the Production Organisation.

Main accountabilities:

  • Support in Product Safety activities including:
  • Participation in risk identification and safety analysis.
  • Participation in SCRA, 8D root cause analysis.
  • Participation in the safety activities in Change Management.
  • Support in the elaboration and monitoring of Safety Indicators. Participation in the definition of corrective actions and prepare the information for the Company Product Safety Assurance Boards.
  • Support in the drafting and modification of internal Product Safety procedures, to comply with the different regulations.
  • Support to the Quality department in updating the procedures and manuals affected by Product Safety and compliance with the different applicable regulations.
  • Support in internal and external audits of the Product Safety System.
  • Support in the preparation and deployment of Product Safety related training, as well as the promotion and communication activities of Product Safety Activities.
  • Support in the coordination with Design Organisations (DOA) and Maintenance Organisation (MOA) on Product Safety aspects.

What profile are we looking for?

  • Education
    : Grade (BSc) or Master (MSc) in engineering

  • Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Safety or Quality, Design or Production of aeronautical components.

  • Knowledge in
    :

  • Product Safety/Quality management.
  • Risk management
  • Aeronautical engines operation and components
  • Problem solving tools: SCRA, 8D, MEDA.
  • EASA Part 21 regulations.

  • Computer packages (Office/SAP)

  • Lenguages:
    High level of English

  • Soft Skills
    :

  • Open to change, eager to learn, proactive, flexible, adaptable, with analytical skills, initiative and critical thinking
  • Communication, active listening and relationship skills, with the ability to navigate at the different areas in the organization, including senior leadership
  • Positive, respectful and optimistic
