We're looking for an AI Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligent systems that help our clients understand and leverage their data. As an AI Engineer at Intent HQ, you'll bridge the gap between software engineering and AI—building agentic systems, tools, and workflows that turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into reliable, production-ready products.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work end-to-end: from designing and prototyping features to deploying and iterating on them in production. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship user-facing functionality that delivers real value to our clients.

• Solid software engineering fundamentals: You understand the full SDLC, testing practices, and modern frameworks
• Production deployment experience: You can take code from development to production using cloud environments, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with agentic systems: You've worked with or are excited to learn about chat interfaces, tool use, workflows, evaluations, agent-to-agent communication, and protocols like MCP
• Product mindset: You focus on outcomes over outputs, iterate quickly, and always think about delivering value
• Curiosity and adaptability: The AI Engineer role is still evolving, and you're excited to grow with it

• Experience with data pipelines and/or data engineering
• Understanding of how large language models (LLMs) work and how to apply them in practice
• Exposure to our tech stack or similar tools

• Build reliable, scalable agentic software systems that solve real client problems
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and deployment processes
• Work end-to-end on features, from initial design and prototyping through to production deployment and ongoing iteration
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to ship intuitive, user-facing functionality
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure performance, consistency, and maintainability across all systems
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing with the team
