Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for an Welding & Mechanical Inspector for a 6 months project based at supplier in Barcelona area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the manufacturing of cryogenic process pressure vessels.
- Operate under the supervision of the Mech & Weld Lead Inspector.
- Coordinate with the EPC and supplier inspectors.
- Monitor implementation of the approved QCP.
- Conduct and/or review inspections per QCP.
- Identify and escalate quality risks to avoid delays.
- Perform quality walks, audits, and compliance checks on procedures, equipment, and tooling.
- Ensure application of client's lessons learned and best practices.
Scope:
Material receipt and traceability, storage, assembly, fit-up, welding, NDT, hydro/pressure testing, final inspections, and MDR compilation.
Requirements- Certified Welding Inspector (e.g., CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent).
- ISO 9712 Level 2 in at least two NDT methods (e.g., VT, PT, MT, UT).
- ≥3 years in welding/mechanical inspection (preferably Oil & Gas or industrial).
- Proficiency in ASME codes and welding documentation.
- Preferred experience in pressure vessels inspections and cryogenic process equipment.
- Availability to start in November 2025.
