FX Trading Operations Specialist

SIX has recently launched an innovative project to transform the way financial entities operate in Forex Markets. Join our team as an Operations and Quality Specialist and help ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our Forex Trading and Settlement platforms, ensuring stability and efficiency while driving process and quality improvements.

You will actively participate in testing environments, collaborate with IT and development teams to validate new functionalities, and lead initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce operational risks. If you have experience in financial markets operations, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset focused on excellence, this position is for you.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee the daily functioning and monitor operations of both the FX trading and settlement platforms, ensuring stability, efficiency, and accuracy in all processes, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and workflow automation.
  • Participate actively in the testing environments of both platform, collaborating with IT teams to validate new releases, functionalities, and fixes before production deployment.
  • Ensure that all operational activities comply with internal procedures and applicable regulations, contributing to the preparation of reports and updates required by supervisory bodies regarding system performance and key operational indicators.
  • Support and supervise the onboarding and activity of new clients from an operational standpoint.
What You Bring
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial markets operations or post-trade environments.
  • Experience in a quality assurance or operations role, including testing or UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes within financial systems is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a small, collaborative team.
