About the Company

An international industrial group with a solid presence in Spain is looking to strengthen its Finance Department with the incorporation of a
Senior Accountant
. The company operates in a dynamic and technical environment, supplying products and solutions to major industrial and automotive clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the
    general accounting
    of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and group standards.
  • Handle
    monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
    .
  • Prepare and submit
    financial statements
    and
    reports
    to headquarters.
  • Support
    audits
    and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Manage
    accounts payable and receivable
    ,
    bank reconciliations
    , and
    fixed assets
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    fiscal and accounting regulations (Spanish GAAP, IFRS)
    .
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to optimize processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    .
  • 3–5 years of experience
    in a similar accounting role, preferably in an
    industrial or automotive environment
    .
  • Solid knowledge
    of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
  • Experience with
    ERP systems
    (SAP, Navision, or similar).
  • Intermediate/Advanced level of English
    (written and spoken).
  • Driving license and own vehicle
    , due to the company's location in Zona Franca (industrial area not well connected by public transport).
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with good analytical skills.
