Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Film Department at EMA FILM BARCELONA SLU, located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end film projects, managing a team, collaborating with production and creative teams, seeking opportunities for distribution, and ensuring the high quality of work delivered. The role also involves advancing the strategic objectives of the film department while fostering relationships in the industry and overseeing marketing and public relations efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Project Management for coordinating and executing film productions
- Proficiency in Drama and Broadcasting, with a deep understanding of storytelling and visual artistry
- Marketing skills to strategize and promote film projects effectively
- Experience and skills in Public Relations to build and maintain positive relationships with industry stakeholders
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing creative teams
- Knowledge of international film production and distribution standards
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related fields
