Medical Science Liaison
(Medical Device)

Your Mission

• To provide medical and scientific leadership for medical affairs activities related to epilepsy and neurology, ensuring the scientific credibility of the company's solution.
• Support the cross functional teams (marketing, access and sales) with scientific, and clinical expertise, interpreting, and providing insights into the positioning of the company's products.
• Gather the customer's scientific needs and develop local projects and initiatives to improve the understanding and product knowledge.

Your Major Accountabilities
Scientific expertise:

• Deep understanding of the company´s products, therapeutic areas, and scientific literature.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements and clinical data, research and treatment guidelines to provide accurate and current information to medical professionals.
• Organize and lead medical events, symposia, and scientific meetings.
• Develop relationships with neurologists, epileptologists, and academic institutions.
• Collect and analyze field medical insights to guide strategic decisions.

Medical Education And Clinical Data Communication

• Educate medical professionals about the company´s product and their use.
• Effectively communicate clinical trial data and scientific publications.
• Support KAMs, Sales reps, Access and marketing teams in scientific communication.

KOL/HCP Engagement

• Develop external relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and other experts in the field.
• Engage and participate in scientific discussions and promote collaborations in research projects and clinical trials.

Compliance And Ethics

• Operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (ethical guidelines of interactions with medical professionals).

Cross Functional Collaboration & Strategy

• Collaborate to align MSL activities with overall company objectives.
• Provide medical insights and feedback to support the development of medical strategies, product launch plans and marketing materials.
• Contribute training materials and clinical education initiatives.

We Would Like You To Have

• 3 years of previous experience as MSL Regional or global experience of new digital product launches.
• +2 years working in the Medical Devices industry.
• Medical or scientific degree (Pharmacy, Biology, Medicine)
• Existing network with KOLs.
• Experience in medical affairs or clinical support within the Pharma and Medtech Industry.
• Knowledge of epilepsy and neurology is highly desirable.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate complex science into practical insights.
• Experience in supporting other research areas; clinical trials and research collaborations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration.
• Compliance & Regulations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
