What the Role Delivers
A Staff Accountant is a cornerstone of financial operations, uniquely positioned to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of an organization�s financial data.
Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance
- Book entries under US-Gaap and Local Gaap (various EMEA and other entities)
- Review of payment proposals
- Bank account reconciliation (Shadow/transitory SAP GL bank accounts)
- Account reconciliations in Blackline
- Review of Intercompany Reconciliation
- Ensure correctness of Accounts (Accrual, prepayments, GR/IR, VAT, Payroll)
- Ensure proper organization of archives of your area of operation
- VAT and WHT filings, EC-Listings, Intrastat for different entities in EMEA and other regions

What the Job Requires
- Solid accounting experience, bachelor�s in business administration required.
- Strong command of Excel
- Strong command of SAP (as an accountant)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are mandatory. Valuable: French, Italian, Turkish, Greek.
- 2-5 years of accounting experience in an industrial environment
- Travel is not foreseen for the position, but might be necessary at a certain point in time
