Study Coordinator
within the Spinal Surgery
Research Unit
(Unitat de Recerca de la Columna Vertebral) to carry on the research study in the pediatric area, and form a part of the European consortium
European Spine Study Group (ESSG)

Education and qualifications:
Required:

• Master's Degree in Health Sciences
• Fluency in Catalan and Spanish. High level of English essential (written and spoken).

Desired:

• Additional training in data processing software (Rstudio, Python, etc).

*Experience and knowledge:
Required:*

• At least 2 years of experience in data management
• At least 1 year of experience working in clinical research
• Knowledge of SAP software (Hospital EMR)
• Capacity for autonomy and responsibility
• Teamwork and leadership abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Used to working with strict deadlines

Desired:

• Knowledge of Spine anatomy and radiographic measurements

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Patient data collection, ensuring adherence to study timelines and maintaining quality of the data
• Database maintenance and statistical analysis of patient data
• New research projects design (including ethics committee submissions, applications to competitive and non-competitive research grants)
• Scientific article publishing. Abstract submission for national and international conferences

Labour conditions:

• Full-time position: 37.5h/week.
• Starting date: immediate.
• Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
