Overview:
The main responsibility of the Associate Director/ Program Director is to supervise the day-to-day management of the program, participate in the progress and innovation of the program, providing the anticipated perception of the student regarding changes and curricula modifications. The Associate Director/ Program Director is the direct point of contact for the students in providing optimum student experience and solving problems of more serious and/or important nature, or those that require superior action.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Executive Director of the program to coordinate logistics in the implementation of innovation introduced in the curriculum or elements that entail greater organizational complexity.
- Responsible for the curriculum planning, review the academic guides and other materials to be delivered to the students at the beginning of the course.
- Collaborate in the process of recruiting program staff as well as monitor and coordinate their work.
- Responsible for specific projects: electives, short exchanges, etc.
- Case management of ethics breaches in close liaison with the Ethics Committee.
- Coordinate day-to-day operation of the program, ensuring a rapid response to students.
- Coordinate with students’ selection of class representatives and ethics representatives. Lead meetings with class representatives or with students who request it.
- Meet with the work groups once per term to gather information about the progress of the course.
- Maintain close contact with faculty to assure delivery of program experience related best practices, comment on student or section issues, feedback, etc.
- Follow-up on students under observation due to their academic performance.
- Interact with the different departments of IE to ensure service provision for students and solve problems in the shortest possible time.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department on facilitating content for promotional material.
Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Master´s Degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in both a leadership role and implementation role as part of a high-functioning team.
- Strong project management skills to provide support on short, medium and long term projects as relates to logistics, event planning, communication, etc. for all program content such as electives, networking events, induction ceremonies, graduation, etc.
- Team player that enjoys working with others in a collaborative environment and demonstrates a pro-active and positive attitude.
- Customer orientation in order to act as liaison to students, professors, internal and external stakeholders on questions and comments related to the academic program.
- Problem solving skills to quickly address concerns, queries and feedback in a constructive and action oriented manner.
- Attention to detail to handle sensitive information such as grades and other administrative tasks such as compiling and organizing student data, and other program related information, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to actively listen and demonstrate empathy.
- Ability to prepare and present effective presentations in both the context of relaying information to students and securing partnerships (company collaborations, keynote speakers, mentors, etc.) for various academic activities.
- Availability to travel outside Spain once a year.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must.
