**Job Description**:
Location: Madrid, Valencia (flexible)

This role will lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives related to environmental impacts across projects in Spain.

**Key activities and responsibilities**:
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Develop, propose and implement environmental programs that can be applicable to the projects (such as risk analysis, budget management, identification and evaluation of environmental aspects and legal requirements, as well as support on document management and control).
- Manage early environmental due diligence activities across multiple concurrent development efforts.
- Manage detailed environmental impact assessments and the supporting technical studies.
- Develop, summarize and communicate environmental obligations across multiple diverse teams, including development, construction, and operations areas.
- Control and monitoring the environmental measures during construction, operation and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental policy and regulations to assess and mitigate risks of the project portfolio.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree level qualification or equivalent of bachelor's degree in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science, geography or other related scientific / technical field. A master's degree in environmental science will be positively valued.
- At least 3 years of work experience as an environmental project manager.
- Comprehensive professional experience in Environmental Impact Assessments and pre-development efforts. The experience linked to renewable energies will be positively valued.
- Experience managing projects and effectively coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Experience working in teams and establishing and maintaining cross-functional and positive working relationships.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Partner with internal organizations including capacity planning, energy teams, data center design, construction, network engineering, legal, policy, communications and finance.
- Fluency in English - written and verbal - other languages will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
