As our new Consolidation Expert (M/F/d) you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the consolidation of financial data across various departments and subsidiaries within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Data Consolidation**: Aggregate financial data from multiple sources to create consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as HGB and IFRS. Prepare and review reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Intercompany Reconciliation**: Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances to ensure accuracy and eliminate discrepancies.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial consolidation.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with the Controlling team, auditors, and other departments to gather necessary information and ensure smooth consolidation processes.
- **System Management**: Maintain and enhance consolidation systems and tools, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and comply with reporting standards.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial consolidation, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement mechanics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Proficiency in consolidation software and ERP systems (e.g., Lucanet, Microsoft Dynamics FO, Oracle, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Business fluent English language skills (at least B2 level). German would be beneficial.
