Design Engineer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define the most cost-effective scaffolding and formwork solution for the specific project of the customers, in accordance with PERI guidelines and practices
- Offer creation on advanced and customized scaffolding and formwork technical solutions
- Ability to perform standard engineering calculations supervised by Project Engineer
- Create accurate and complete 2D/3D layouts of PERI systems
- Produce detailed installation and assembly drawings with full material lists, meeting PERI Engineering standards
- Manage technical change request and lead to variation orders
- Close collaboration with the sales team
- Preparation of product and offer presentations to customers
- Work with Project Engineering to ensure that the customer´s project is understood in scope and timing
- Meet with internal departments and external customers regarding project goals and timelines

**Your profile**:

- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineer or Secundary Technical School
- High knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D, PERIcad, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of BIM methodology preferred
- Knowledge in AR, MR and VR preferred
- Application Engineering Knowledge of PERI systems preferred
- Knowledge of formwork and scaffolding sector, at least 2 years of engineering experience directly related to formwork and scaffolding systems preferred
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of architectural drawing standards and ability to read and prepare architectural drawings
- Self-motivated, proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and co-workers and conceptualize cause and effect in various departments
- Team spirit: Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude
