Statics Engineer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Independent risk management for projects (including complex projects) in the field of statics and autonomous implementation of (complex) detailed analyses
- Independent and autonomous preparation of internal and verifiable difficult static calculations
- Design in accordance with Standards for steel products
- Checking of statics work (project statics) of the engineering specialist
- Define the most cost-effective scaffolding and formwork solution for the specific project of the customers, in accordance with PERI guidelines and practices
- Offer creation on advanced and customized scaffolding and formwork technical solutions
- Create accurate and complete 2D/ 3D layouts of PERI systems
- Check detailed installation and assembly drawings with full material lists, meeting PERI Engineering standards
- Manage technical change request and lead to variation orders
- Close collaboration with the sales team
- Preparation of product and offer presentations to customers
- Assist the Head of Technical Office with the everyday running of the department reviewing designs and assigning workload
- Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example
- Meet with internal departments and external customers regarding project goals and timelines

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor or master’s degree (Civil or Mechanical engineering), key areas: design, steel construction, statics, mechanics
- Very good knowledge of English
- In-depth knowledge of RSTAB, RFEM, PFC (PERI Force Control), PERIcad and the design tools available in PERI
- Knowledge of structural calculation software, including second order analysis.
- Good knowledge of international codes and standards
- Knowledge of formwork and scaffolding sector, at least 3 years of engineering experience directly related to formwork and scaffolding systems
- Knowledge of architectural drawing standards and ability to read and prepare architectural drawings
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team, team spirit, positive working attitude
- Self-motivated, proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and co-workers and conceptualize cause and effect in various departments
