The Position

We are looking for an IT Business Consultant who will be primarily accountable as a business partner, business analyst and project manager. In this role you will be part of a diverse team of expert colleagues located in Barcelona (Spain), Biberach (Germany), and Ridgefield (USA). Together with your colleagues in IT, you will be acting as IT Business Consultant for our colleagues in Human Pharma as well as in Animal Health to allow them to grow their business. You will be part of a global team of great minds with energetic spirit We are an agile team with diverse skills, always striving for excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Work in close collaboration with our internal business stakeholders of various medical functions and define technology-supported solutions.
- Plan and lead responsibly large and complex global projects with our business in terms of time, quality, and cost.
- Solve business challenges and create a successful basis for cross-functional projects.
- Follow innovative trends and agile methods to identify potential approaches for improvements in our area and beyond.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, finance, Economics or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of Business consultants in IT area.
- At least 2 years of experience in the function as an interface to internal and external business partners.
- Project experience based on several successfully completed projects including management of external project employees.
- Knowledge in agile methodologies.
- Experience in agile project management process models is desirable.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to work effectively within an international and intercultural environment.
- Willingness and readiness to travel occasionally.
- Communication skills, focus client, a high level of identification with the task and commitment as well as a structured and result-oriented way of working, wiling to adapt and learn new methodologies.
