We are currently looking for an outstanding CTO (Chief Technology Officer) to join our team by leading 4 different departments with over 50 employees, in Málaga.

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Lead and manage the different areas within the technical area: Frontend, Backend, Data Science and DevOps.
- Empower, attract and retain highly skilled employees

**IT skills**:

- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCE)
- API architecture using Django
- Modern web frameworks React, Vue or Angular
- Infraestructure
- Container-based development, Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD and IaC
- Test driven development
- Project management using Scrum/Agile methodologies

**Other skills**:

- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Proficiency English level
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
