**SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES**:

- Helps drive the adoption and implementation of Modern Workplace Technologies across the business line, digitising and improving the employee experience.
- Within the AgroScience core IT Team you will be the most Senior WSM Engineer, acting as a technical point of escalation. You will work closely with teams across the organization to identify and address technical challenges, and you will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation of Modern Workplace Solutions.

**POSITION & OBJECTIVES**:
**Workstations and Mobile devices**:

- Automate Windows device lifecycle management, in particular desktop deployment (with Autopilot) and CMDB.
- Deploy and maintain modern device management technologies (with Intune for Windows and mobile devices).
- Create update rings that specify how and when Windows as a Service updates Windows 10/11 devices with feature and quality updates.
- Ensure workstations are patched in a timely manner, taking into account strong business requirements (with Intune and Update rings).
- Ensure general security of workstations (encryption, compliance, security policies, security baselines).
- Manage Compliance policies to ensure that only devices with high security standards are allowed to access corporate data.

**Office 365 Cloud Services and Identities**:

- Ensure users and devices are properly managed with the highest efficiency and automation (AD, AzureAD).
- Manage Conditional Access policies to ensure that each Enterprise App is accessed in line with security requirements.
- Ensure administrative access to the environment is properly configured with least privilege principle (Just-in-time and Just Enough Admin) and provide admins with adequate bastions / jump hosts when needed.
- Ensure adequate data management (data retention, Teams/SharePoint management, etc.).
- Automate reporting to have a 360° view over the configuration, changes and threats to the environment.

**Servers**:

- Defines the GPOs for Servers.
- Creates update rings that specify how and when Windows as a Service updates servers with feature and quality updates and drives the patching cycle. Ensures servers are patched in a timely manner in collaboration with the operational team.

**In project mode**:

- Defines process and support the migration of 1100 users (PCs, mailboxes, data) from traditional technologies to the above-mentioned modern systems.
- Implements solutions which drive automation to drive and improve efficiency.
- Manages project work independently as well as cooperates as part of a large international team for complex projects.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation.
- Automates, scripts and performs testing within the Workplace area.
- Grows a strong understanding of the AgroScience business line and end-user needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors in computer science, or related degree or proven experience in the role.
- Deep understanding of virtual and cloud infrastructures.
- Microsoft certification will give you an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong practical experience in development project management.
- Strong experience of Integration and Change Projects and experience with holistic project implementation to connect new customers.
- Ideally has knowledge of a laboratory IT infrastructure.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies, and software.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skill as well as fluency in English. Other languages such as French, German, Spanish and Italian are a bonus.
