**Be a part of a team where you will**:

- Forge new and enhance existing payments relationships; identify and execute on opportunities for performance improvement and cost savings with payment providers
- Identify, size, prioritize, and pursue opportunities that improve our payments platform in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Business Intelligence
- Define, track, analyze, and own payments related performance metrics
- Design on boarding and escalation procedures for new and existing payment connections in partnership with Engineering, Risk, and Accounting
- Stay up to date and informed on developments in the payments space, from regulatory trends, new payment methods and players, changes at the card networks, and other changes impacting Glovo's payments business
- Work across internal and external stakeholders to help define Glovo's approach and strategy around payments
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

**You have**:

- 3+ years experience building payments systems at an online, e-commerce, or marketplace merchant
- Regional payments expertise e.g. EMEA; ability to set up and deep dive complex markets like Africa or Central Asia
- Experience managing regional card issuer relationships and driving both payments acceptance and risk initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of card-not-present payments and alternative payment methods
- Critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and program management skills. You're easily able to break a problem down into its constituent parts to identify the best solution forward
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment - we have no shortage of asks but limited time and resources. You need to be able to effectively assess, prioritize, and execute autonomously
- Ability to balance needs of multiple stakeholder groups, setting expectations, and keeping internal and external partners aligned with Glovo's strategic priorities
- Highly analytical approach to approaching complex payments challenges in an three-sided marketplace
- SQL skills required
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
