Senior Analyst, Commissions and Commercial Management
**Job Description**:
This expansion role in the Revenue Operations department will lead the global commissions program. The Senior Analyst will have strong financial acumen, experience with Commissions management, and the ability to lead these processes globally with accuracy, diligence, and sensitivity. This person will standardize plans and procedures globally, and work towards a transition to commissions software platform as opposed to Excel. As a secondary role, the Senior Analyst will participate in Commercial activities in partnership with the Finance department, such as tracking Customer Contracts and Renewals, and reviewing incoming orders. The Senior Analyst will also serve as a back-up for the Revenue Operations Teams Forecasting activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparing Quarterly Commission Pay-outs to Sales personnel.
- Maintaining individual Commissions Statements for Sales personnel.
- Managing the master data set for commission transactions.
- Working with regional Controllers to collect invoices and customer payments.
- Accessing our ERP system to collect invoices and customer payments directly.
- Manage the annual Commission Plan process: updating language, financial modelling, quota-setting, plan distribution.
- Researching vendors for Commissions Software.
- Tracking customer contracts for renewals and amendments.
- Assisting with managing incoming Orders in Salesforce to ensure commercial policies are met.
- Cross-training on the Forecast process to serve as a backup for the Rev Ops Director.
**Requirements**:
- University graduate (Business or Finances)
- 3 years managing Commissions, ideally for a global SaaS company
- Financial and/or Sales department experience.
**Technical knowledge**:
- Advanced Excel
- Commissions Software (such as Xactly, Captivate IQ, SPIFF, QuotaPath, Varicent, Zencentive, Everstage, etc.)
- Business Intelligence Software (such as Tableau or Power BI)
- Financial ERP systems
