Logistics Imports Analyst

Ecolab is looking for a new member to be part of our Logistics Center of Excellence in Barcelona. This is an analyst position which requires data analyzes, project management and problem-solving skills to drive process changes and deliver business results related to Imports and Exports operations. Responsibility will include but are not limited to process creation and alignment across the network, reporting and analytics, support of imports operations and improvement project implementations.

**What you will do**:

- Manage the imports operation for Europe working closely with our customs broker, plants, and trade compliance teams.
- Drive process improvements projects related to Imports process.
- Implement controls related to customs documentations ensuring legal compliance within government rules and regulations.
- Liaise with plant operations, freight forwarder, carriers, Sales and CS team to provide guidance and operational expertise.
- Identify and implement cost savings projects related to imports and exports charges.
- Audit transportation and freight forwarding charges invoices.
- Implement and monitor business KPIs.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and development.
**We are looking for**:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience with proven track record gained in a similar position, preferably in a Multinational Company.
Preferably to have logistics experience working in a Chemical Company.
- Previous experience as an Import analyst is a plus as well as knowledge of import/export regulations and processes.
**Basic qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Business/Logistics, Supply Chain, **Imports** & Exports
- Master’s degree in Business is a plus
- Fluent English is mandatory, other European languages are a plus
- SAP experience required and advanced excel knowledge.
- Microsoft power Bi and Access are a plus
