As a Senior Accountant in Global Accounting Center in Madrid, you are part of the Global Delivery organization, in itself part of the Global Finance Operations organization. Global Delivery organization is driving and delivered global efficient and harmonized processes in PTP, OTC and GAR accounting area. In this specific role you will be providing support to Polestar. The different teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analyzing the actuals as well as reporting, consolidating and analyzing forecasts and business plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments and cost control. **The Cash & Bank team at Global Accounting Center** is now looking for a **Senior Accountant**. In this role, you will be reporting to the Manager of the Cash and Bank team. **What you'll do** In this role, you will be providing support for the daily accounting of treasury and banking operations to the accounting team. You will provide detailed support to our customers on ad-hoc treasury queries. Actively take part in ad hoc harmonization projects. In this role, you will need to continuously identifying areas of improvement in your area of responsibility as well as collaborating with both the AR and AP teams daily. In addition to this, you will deliver in compliance with current global principles, standards, and frameworks. You will perform complex analysis and reporting. **Who are you** We believe that you have a university degree in finance or equivalent. You are fluent in English and a second European language. You are knowledgeable in accounting and excel, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance. As well as having strong experiences in forming finance processes. Furthermore, we see that you are experienced in SAP FI preferably S/4HANA. You are also experienced in working with online payment process platforms such as Stripe/Square or equivalent. You have the ability to plan and prioritize with a flexible and positive mindset. You have solid communication and cooperation skills. We also see that it's meritorious with leadership experience and an ability to coach and supervise. You are able to have a holistic view of an international organization.
