Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.

For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:
**Facilities Maintenance - Section Manager**

**What you will do**

He/she will also be in charge of the allocation of maintenance work based on staff and needs, direct, manage and motivate the Facility Maintenance Teams under safety way, and coordinate the activities with the different Departments of the factory, without affect the normal operations or minimizes the affectation.

**How you will do it**
- Permanent contact with maintenance subcontractors to ensure the correct control of the facilities, coordination of tasks and works with Facitiy Services Subcontractors
- Checking the facility maintenance for both external subcontractors and internal maintainers
- Organize plans for maintenance, repairment and update for company facilities.
- Conduct facility and installations, inspections to identify and prevent for coming problems.
- Assist production lines at the case of general installations troubles.
- Keep all the plan updated and revised,and assign workload and supervise facility maintenance staff.
- Control equipment inventory and place orders, monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service spare or repairment providers.
- Maintain maintenance records and report on daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies for all his staff.
- Hire and train staff (technicians, assistants, etc.).
- Review repair requests and issue work orders.
- Constant coordination with the Line’s & machinery maintenance’s section manager to solve the issues that may involve stoppages in the lines.
- Organize the staff, so that work shifts are covered by sufficient and adequate people covering all labour timing including vacation periods.

**What we are looking for**

Engineering School or demonstrated value in maintenance works supervision

High experience and formation in Electric installations (or mechanical), and Valuable GMAO knowledge

Minimum 5 years of experience as Section Manager or similar

Leadership and good communication skills

Knowledge of safety, culture and environment policies is a plus

Knowledge of English language
