Are you looking to use your knowledge and experience to help develop future FSE’s to meet critical customer demand?

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for preventive and corrective service in high technology analytical instrumentation, at both internal and external customer sites including strategic accounts.

**This position is part of the Service department on AB SCIEX Spain S.L. and will be located in Barcelona area. Nevertheless, based on business needs, the FSE could be asked to cover other geographical areas of Spain.**

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Conducts service, repair and/or installation on Mass Spec instruments, electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with service procedures and specific tools, including IQ/OQ and other qualification products.
- Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution.
- Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system, involving yourself in complex solutions with great support behind you.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction at strategic accounts

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Technical high school degree OR Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering.
- Previous experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry, HPLC or related scientific instruments.
- Driving license is essential, as well as availability to travel across Iberia when needed in order to support your teammates
- English at least level B1 to attend trainings abroad.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Excellent communications skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Computer literate in Windows and Networking.
- Work independently and as part of team.
- Previous exposure and knowledge of troubleshooting, problem-solving procedures, electrical and electro
- mechanical technology is preferred.
