**About the role**

The role of Partnerships Team Lead will lead, develop and grow our Channel Partner Programme. This role will oversee the Channel Partner Programme and existing Channel partnerships, triage new ones and actively seek out and identify new partnerships to grow the ecosystem, working with the partner to increase the popularity of our portfolio of Apps, drive usage and marketing opportunities.

As a team lead this position will also help drive strategy and performance analysis of the channel programme.

**What you'll be doing**:
Leading the Team
- Manage and mentor a team of channel managers to drive growth and development of the Channel Partner Programme
- Setting objectives and goals to support individual employee career development, balanced against company objectives/needs.
- Providing regular and timely feedback to employees, acknowledging success and the need for improvement.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including Product Support, Customer Success, and product marketing in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
- Develop processes and procedures to optimize partner management efforts and ensure sales goals are achieved

Partner Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing high performance channel partners
- Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
- Proactively lead joint partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
- Captures opportunities to partner, identifying existing opportunities and creating new ones that further the organization’s objectives
- Be the voice of the partners within Adaptavist

Strategy and Performance
- Crafting and implementing channel sales strategies to meet sales quota
- Foster and support co-marketing strategies that help embed Adaptavist products in the marketplace
- Implement, execute, and report on KPIs to assess the progress of channel development and growth.
- Leverage data and performance analysis to assess the health of channel partner relationships and determine strategic churn

**What we're looking for**:

- Demonstrates strong leadership experiences in managing individuals and/or teams
- Experience working in the SaaS space in a relationship-oriented role with partners (account management, partnerships, business development, sales, etc.)
- Has the self-discipline and time management skills to work autonomously
- Experience managing complex stakeholder engagement
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to solve business problems and work with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing, implementing and managing KPIs
- Able to contextualizes partner programme strategy in relation to the long term goals of other internal teams and the business as a whole
- Focuses on solutions instead of dwelling on challenges or problems
- Embraces failure as a learning opportunity
- Comfortable with the ambiguity of a fast growing business

**A few nice to haves**:

- Experience working within the Atlassian Ecosystem
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence as an end-user
- Experience working with a global and/or culturally diverse team across a complex matrix environment
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally for events and partner meetings
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Experience in creating or growing a partner programme.
