In a moment of complete transformation, we need to grasp and boost the power of Innovation and Digital Strategy (IDS) to translate them into knowledge and impact on the healthcare ecosystem. The Innovation Business Manager is a core member of the Innovation and Digital Strategy Leadership team.
This role leads the definition and implementation of the Innovation and Digital Strategy model. He/She/They optimizes processes, projects, roles, and responsibilities of the team in collaboration with the Senior leadership. He/She/They ensures the strategic and tactical implementation of core projects and business innovation value chain across the team. In addition, He/She/They leads the implementation of the S&BTO strategy across the Office model, challenging and nurturing people managers and individual contributors to define scopes of work, roles and responsibilities, and functionally reporting to the Strategy & Business Transformation Office Lead.
As a partner to the Business Leadership, this role brings independent and strategic thinking to the company, He/She/They ensures seamless implementation and adaptation of the innovation and digital strategy cross functionally.
This role includes managerial responsibility, senior decision-making skills, support driven mindset and autonomy.

- Demonstrates strong curiosity with a multidisciplinary approach. Performs effective cross functional leadership and team change management skills. He/She/they leads talent nurture and development according to AZ and healthcare ecosystem needs.
- He/she is a core player for the effective leadership, management, and cross collaboration of the IDS team.
- He/she is responsible to establish an Internal strategic consulting model, focusing on the implementation of the IDS strategy within the team.
**Strategy** **&** **Management**
- Defines, plans, and leads the implementation of the Office model of the S&BTO strategy in close coordination with the S&BTO Lead, IDS Director and the IDS Leadership team.
- Ensures monitoring of performance and outcomes of the Office Model of the S&BTO to ensure impact and timeliness.
- Brings strategic thinking to the team, orchestrating cross-functional efficiencies and alignment between S&BTO, Tech&Data, Business Excellence, Customer Engagement & Digital Transformation, Innovative Healthcare Solutions and Learning & Capabilities Units.
- He/She/They leads Artificial Intelligence as a key lever for transformation, ensuring the coordination of cross functional teams, delivery of main outcomes and achievement of internal and external impact.
- As a decision-making and planning oriented leader, He/She/They supports the Innovation Leadership Team core activities and deliverables. Including, among others, strategic meetings coordination, core KPIs and objectives monitoring, cross collaboration activities, ways of working initiative and internal strategic modeling and project management.
- Leads IDS processes definition, implementation, and optimization in close alignment with the Processes team.
- He/She/they will be responsible for the definition of value chains and business outcomes across Innovation & Digital Strategy teams, developing a deep understanding of the current project pipeline. Organizes an assessment system and internal governance to prioritize projects and resource allocation to maximize business impact.
- Contributes to the strategic design and execution of an innovation and digital strategy internal capability program to ensure the upskilling and talent excellence for the challenges of the future.
- Proactively creates and brings executive proposals to ensure the governance of core strategic projects and improves the IDS model and performance as part of the senior team.
- Leads IDS communication and internal capabilities plan, aligned with Communications Team and Capabilities Team.
- High level of accountability on implementation and cascading of working model, and execution timelines
- Brings leadership skills, strong stakeholder management and complex business environment understanding, ensuring alignment with therapeutical areas, access, medical and functions to ensure business impact.
