**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our passionate tech team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user stories.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Identify and document software defects, reproduce issues, and provide clear and detailed bug reports.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide input from a testing perspective.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience with testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools. Solid understanding of different testing types, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
**Good to have**:
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools (Postman, SoapUI).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
