- Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Senior Manager Digital Operations ecom EU leads operational excellence stream across digital operations within eCommerce for market Europe. Key objective of the role is to analyze operations business performance e2e, from order flow to fulfillment, bridge dependencies and priorities across different areas and facilitate execution of those improvements within teams.
- The role is responsible for optimizing our operational delivery across platform, order & inventory management, content publishing, promotions, fulfillment and Consumer Services.
- This role is the catalyst for Operational Excellence within Digital Operations.
- The role has a strong people management component.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the business operations team in Zaragoza Hub
- Run operational report for Digital Operations on weekly/monthly basis. Work with operations team to provide the necessary visibility of KPI’s and performance.
- Work with teams to identify clear ownership for resolving issues and to drive problem management, facilitate governance of the process (action tracker, follow ups)
- Connect impact of performance by area and gaps by area on overall business performance, facilitate conversations with core operations team on what needs to be addressed and how
- Lead and manage operations team, creating team identity and belonging, building engagement. Be strong ambassador of well-being for the team. Represent the team in Zaragoza Digital Hub with HR and Leadership Team.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include leading the interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- You are an expert in operations, IT and/or fulfillment, digital, retail
- ITIL knowledge and/or certification is a plus
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve desired results
- Ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships
- Ability to provide a framework for performance
- Ability to coach, guide, manage and develop a team
- Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty
- Holistic thinker - can establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge of one or several of the functional areas: fulfillment, payments & risk, content publishing, platform operations, inventory & order management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are a meticulous planner with experience setting and driving deadlines in operational and project environments.
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in technical or science focused discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience in operations, managing Service Desk or Support Center
- 3+ years experience leading, managing and motivating others, both directly and indirectly. You have proven experience recruiting, building and developing winning teams.
