The Solution Architect provides technical leadership for internal and customer-facing projects of the largest size and/or highest degree of complexity. In addition, the Lead Architect will perform complex technical analysis and hands-on technical tasks as part of assigned projects. The Architect combines excellent technical and professional skills to lead and deliver large, complex projects successfully. The Architect is capable of solving complex technical problems, communicating technical concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical abilities, and making sound technical and architectural decisions independently.
**Primary Duties / Responsibilities**:
- Acts as an authority for understanding a client’s and stakeholder's overall business and for positioning
Citrix Consulting Services for a successful implementation. Demonstrates the ability to tailor the
methodology to meet the client’s needs while preserving a structured process.
- Plans and leads all technical aspects of major projects. Effectively multi-tasks across multiple projects to provide high-speed delivery.
- Takes full responsibility for overall execution and delivery of critical tasks or projects, primarily in an oversight capacity.
- Provides quality assurance reviews and project oversight on customer engagements.
- Provides technical thought leadership to the Global Citrix Professional Services team through internal training and mentoring.
- Provides technical thought leadership to partners and customers through blog articles, conference presentations, and webinars.
- Leads, plans and designs technical solutions that meet, or exceed, customer requirements and expectations.
- Takes an active role improving the business by improving standards, capabilities, and efficiency (e.g. documentation templates, reference labs, leading practice guides, automation).
- Encourages others to do things differently, push the boundaries, and experiment outside their comfort zones. Mentors, coaches, and helps develop the skills of others.
- Acts as a post-sales technical escalation point and is focused on ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains strong technical relationships with Citrix teams to promote Citrix Consulting and increase our reputation for thought leadership within the wider organization.
- Viewed as an industry expert internally and externally.
**Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)**
- Experience implementing enterprise-class solutions using Citrix technologies.
- Demonstrated broad and deep technical skill set; understanding of enterprise-level technical issues and ability to relate to client/internal needs.
- Experience in delivery of technical collateral (i.e. white papers, knowledgebase, Education courseware).
- Consistently demonstrated high “speed of delivery” across multiple responsibilities (i.e. technical lead, project lead, internal initiatives).
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings with large, diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop and lead presentations requiring deep technical concepts for large, diverse audiences.
