Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate **Group **IT Cloud FINOPS specialist** **to join our growing organisation. This role will report into the _Director Special Projects & Arlo IT_

You will be involved in topics that are very important and relevant for the technology organisation as our expanding cloud configuration is highly prioritized within the company.

As Group IT Cloud FINOPS specialist you have the required technical platform knowledge around Amazon and Azure to question how the platforms are used to enable cost efficiency. You have financial background and are skilled at creating reports and presenting budgets.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Group IT Cloud FINOPS specialist at Verisure, you will be expected to:

- Take ownership of the multi-year cloud spend budget and support negotiations for multi-year agreements and contracts with cloud vendors.
- Conduct monthly and yearly reviews and forecasts of cloud spend, identifying deviations and linking them to technical or business reasons, and effectively communicate the current situation and spend to stakeholders.
- Monitor the cloud vendor roadmap and changes to identify opportunities for analysis with the teams.
- Define strategic objectives and own the optimization/reduction budget. Collaborate with technical experts to achieve these objectives by identifying actions and teams involved in their execution.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders (IT, Finance) regarding the status, planning, and performance of cloud actions.

**Experiences and** competencies**
- Top, successful educational background (engineering or financial administration)
- Successful professional experience, preferably with Tech Consulting, Finance or Banking
- Strong analytical skills (data organization and presentation)
- Used to work in large organizations and collaborate with others to accomplish your goals.
- Detail orientation and impeccable precision.
- Structural ( creating order and repetitive data for follow-up and projections)
- Collaborative working across geographies and technical and financial functions.
- Reliability and transparency
- Insights (needle in a haystack) and creativity (future is yet to be written)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Absolutely fluent English; and/or Spanish strong pluses
