**Logistics Coordinator**:
**What you will do**

The purpose of the Logistics Coordinator position at Johnson Controls Hitachi, specifically in the context of controlling a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is to oversee and manage the transportation operations within the supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with the 3PL provider to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods, while also optimizing shipments and managing transportation costs. They are responsible for coordinating with provider and other departments to schedule deliveries, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. The Logistics Coordinator also monitors the performance of the 3PL provider, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and resolving any transportation-related issues that may arise. Overall, the role of the Logistics Coordinator in the Johnson Controls Hitachi context is to effectively manage the transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

**How you will do it**
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure On Time, In Full Delivery for our Customers
- Close monitoring of transport orders and raise advance notice with stakeholders if delays are expected
- Work closely with Warehouse team to ensure that orders are picked/packed and ready for collection by our transporters
- Ensure that shipping documents are prepared in complete and correct prior to shipments
- Timely support for reject/return orders, ensuring that return forms and supporting documents are in order
- Support Logistics reporting for CDC and UK Spoke especially for root cause analysis and supporting documents
- Support in other request for Warehouse and Logistics related matters (GEMBA walk, Quality checklist, Safety checklist, Vehicle checklist)

**What we are looking for**
- Min 1-3 years of relevant working experience in logistics coordination / control tower operations and shipping document preparation
- Experience with ERP such as Oracle or SAP is preferred.
- Relation with B&B and Buyers - limits of their work
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization
- High level of English
- Good communication skills and meticulous with details
