Freelance Event Marketing Manager

Our client is a leading software solution provider across Europe, with offices globally including Madrid. They have had strong growth year on year and on a mission to continue to expand further.
**The Role & Responsibilities for the Freelance Event Marketing Manager**:
- You will own and operationalise their event strategy (objectives, event-mix, audiences, content and outcomes).
- Working alongside the regional team to agree on messaging and content, collaborating with the sales team on lead sourcing, invites and follow up as well as sourcing speakers and producing relevant presentation materials.
- Own events: managing the budget and complete event lifecycle from ideation & planning to execution & follow-up (e.g. Webinars, HR Dinners, Breakfast Sessions)
- Have a focus on buyer persona, buyer’s journey, content, goals & KPI’s to ensure a successful event
- Manage agencies effectively to ensure successful event execution - Manage event budgets and track expenses - Create event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Manage 3rd party events such as tradeshows and webinars
**Experience/Skills Required for the Freelance Event Marketing Manager Role**:
- Fluent Spanish speaker to C2 level both written and verbal
- Experience: 3 years plus of experience in an Events role, where you managed internal or external events with results to show. Ideally with previous experience in leading SaaS companies with solutions in the B2B world.
- CRM Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce
- Strong experience managing and briefing multiple agencies (this role will work with multiple Spanish agencies, including CRM, PR, Content and Brand)
- Great planning and organising skills in a fast paced environment to deliver a smooth experience
- Demonstrable stakeholder engagement experience, thinking through complex issues and coming up with effective solutions.
