Senior Mechanical Engineer

**Your profile**:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic **Senior Mechanical Engineer** to deliver innovative, high quality leading-edge solutions for the 2D/3D Printing industry in a fast paced, highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. This position is located in Berlin or Barcelona, with occasional travel requirements either between Quantica sites or travel to customers, partners and suppliers.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Design and development of electro-mechanical systems devoted to layer deposition of viscous materials, from concept to market introduction
- Close team-working with internal groups and external partners & customers
- Deliver high quality designs and validation documentation as part of building the knowledge base and best practices
- Mentor and develop team members via providing technical guidance
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Drive strategic planning and implementation of engineering processes and standards

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor, Master or above degree in any mechanical engineering related discipline
- Min. 7+ years experience in a similar position for product design and development, ideally in a Printing or 3D Printing adjacent industry
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and design, including concept and architecture
- Excellent knowledge of ME fundamentals: CAD, CAE, system modelization, prototyping, tolerance analysis, specifications (GD&T / ISO GPS), DFMEA, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent language skills in English
