As part of our team you will be at the forefront of additive manufacturing technology, paving the way for the future.Your profileWe are looking for a talented and enthusiasticSenior Mechanical Engineerto deliver innovative, high quality leading-edge solutions for the 2D/3D Printing industry in a fast paced, highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. This position is located in Barcelona, with occasional travel requirements either between Quantica sites or travel to customers, partners and suppliers.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of electro-mechanical systems devoted to layer deposition of viscous materials, from concept generation to market introductionExciting team-work with our international colleagues and external partners & customersDeliver high quality Hardware design that is ready for production and delivers the functionalityGuide and develop team members via providing technical guidance and documentationDrive execution planning and implementation of engineering processes and standardsRequired SkillsMaster or above degree in any mechanical engineering related disciplineMin. 10+ years experience in a similar position for product design and development, ideally in a Printing or 3D Printing adjacent industryStrong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and design, including concept and architectureExcellent knowledge of ME fundamentals: CAD, CAE, system modeling, prototyping, tolerance analysis, specifications (GD&T / ISO GPS), DFMEA, etc.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent language skills in EnglishWhat We ValueExperience in other industries such as automotive, medical, home appliances, industrial machinery, etc.Proficiency in project management practice and toolsKnowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamicsWhy QuanticaCompetitive salaryExcellent location near BarcelonaProfessional development and career advancement opportunities in a fast growing new company with unique technologyA truly open-minded and supportive work environment with a high level of employee empowermentFlexible working hoursFree snacks, fruits, coffee and teaAbout UsQuantica is an additive manufacturing technology company that has developed its own printhead technology.
