**Responsibilities**
- Direct staff including and provide leadership to achieve goals and vision of the organisation and give support and guidance for the day-to-day operations of the Data Management team
- Evaluate Data Management unit processes and operational effectiveness. Analyse and resolve complex issues and provide alternative solutions as necessary.
- Analyse Data Management unit needs and make recommendations to leadership for changes in staffing, facilities, health and safety compliance, finance, technology and/or administrative functions
- Work autonomously to manage, coordinate and oversee various project activities within the Registry department
- Interpret, implement and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, policies and procedures within the Registry department. Recommend new internal policies, guidelines and procedures
- Represent the Data Management unit’s operations within the department and organisation. May represent the organisation to external parties.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in biomedical sciences or related field.
- Experience managing a team and leadership skills
- Experience working as a DM with clinical EDC
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google tools
- Strong knowledge in standards and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Fluent English

Desirable
- Familiarised with haematology diseases
- Experience with R and SQL
- Knowledge of OMOP CDM

Abilities and soft skills
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation and effective interpersonal skills.
- Good managerial skills. Demonstrated supervisory skills
- Solid strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and manage deadlines.
