House of Shipping's commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.Currently, we are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global container liner company, for the position of Senior Executive Operations - Barcelona, Spain.Department:OperationsDesignation:Senior Executive OperationsLocation:Barcelona, SpainYears of experience:10 to 15 YearsReporting To:Operations ManagerVessel OperationsInform about planned operational schedule changes, provide related documents, and support the vessel and crew.Check and share berthing window/prospects and actual schedules with Lines/Stakeholders.If the berthing window is not respected, renegotiate the berthing schedule with the terminal.Order gangs/cranes and communicate call sequence.Order and coordinate husbandry/stevedoring services.Order and monitor supply and other services (e.g., cash to master, sludge).Provide cargo documentation to the vessel.Follow, order, and coordinate services (husbandry & stevedoring including mooring, bunkering & departure).Generate reports according to deadlines.Manage and monitor terminal services.Coordinate vessel sailing.Alert Regional Ops, Lines, and Berthing Manager in case of incidents.Monitor and report procurement of terminal services and husbandry.Monitor and report ongoing operations and productivity.Monitor waiting time, idle time, and productivity, focusing on continuous improvements.Manage special events (holds, customs inspections, damages, malfunctioning reefers, COD).Provide hazardous data to local authorities (import, transit, and export cargo).Coordinate POL loadings with dedicated teams, upload partner load lists, and inform Cargo Flow for prechecks.Follow-up on loading instructions.Prepare and provide special cargo documentation to husbandry or partners.Produce provisional and final load lists for the ship manager or partners (inform Cargo Flow).Produce load lists for the terminal.Compare pre-stow with load list.Follow-up cargo operations and manage shortfalls.Send cargo summaries to customs authorities.Post-Sailing ActivitiesInvestigate discrepancies between Port Completion Report and invoices from cost control. xsgfvud Perform local/auxiliary tasks.Reporting TeamReporting Designation:Operations ManagerReporting Department:OperationsMinimum Work ExperienceYears of experience:10-15 yearsExperience in Port Community Services (PCS)Required KnowledgePort processes, documentation, TTN tool handlingMS Office applications and report preparation skillsKnowledge of geography and port operationsEnglish proficiencyRequired SkillsCustomer orientationAttention to detail and error-free workAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility and willingness to adapt to new systems and processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
