Strategic Google Cloud Consultant, Chronicle

Minimum qualifications:

- Experience with network protocols, secure network design, network monitoring tools, Operating System internals, and hardening.
- Experience with one of the following: Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Network Security, Vulnerability and Risk Management, Endpoint Security Technologies, Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Experience in security operations in customer-facing roles.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience writing threat detection rules/parsers, leading security investigations, and working with associated tooling (e.g., Splunk).
- Experience working with Big Data technologies and distributed programming inclusive of developing security tools, automation, or frameworks.
- Experience with security monitoring, detection engineering, or security operations.
- Understanding of command-line-interface, intrusion detection, Incident response, and forensics.

**About the job**:
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical guidance to customers adopting Chronicle Security information and event management (SIEM) for their security monitoring and operational needs and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) for their automated security incident and response.
- Provide expertise on using Chronicle SIEM/SOAR for security operations, threat hunting, incident response, setting up cloud native architectures, etc.
- Ensure customers receive the best experience in migrating, building, and modernizing the security monitoring and operations using Chronicle Security Platform.
- Work with the Product Management and Product Engineering teams to drive excellence in Google Cloud Security products and features.
